Aww that's just cruel.

I actually imagine the amulet coin duplicating the money by itself, either that or the Pokémon hides it (cuz it's not seen in the overworld sprite) but somehow it gives off a charisma to the opponent, making them give more money, intentionally or subconsciously.

i always tough you punched the trainers in the face and grabbed just a few pokedollars, but the amulet coin corruptive influence made you greedy and you grabbed even more money from them
