Link Discrimination

From what I know, Tingle never meets adult Link and only meets young Link or Toon Link. So when he meets adult Link (I based this one off of Twilight Princess's Link), he doesn't recognize him.

Of course when Tingle sees Toon Link he becomes all excited because he knows he's going to rip Toon Link off, er, help him with map translating. As you can see, Toon Link doesn't seem very happy when he sees Tingle... I wonder why...

I suppose another way you could look at this is Tingle isn't interested in adults but is interested in kids...yeah... Maybe Toon Link feels threatened and is defending himself.
