Super Smash Twilight Princess by Lethalityrush Super Smash Twilight Princess by Lethalityrush
Old news - Link and Zelda have been unveiled for the next Super Smash Bros, and they're still in a form most similar to their Twilight Princess designs! (Though Link's colors are brighter this time around)
Too bad for Skyward Sword Zelda and Link.
Will TP Ganondorf make a return? We shall see...

Ganondorf is Sakurai's favorite Smasher, it's no doubt that he returned. :-D

The Twilight Princess versions of them all are my favorites so I'm glad that they all made a return. But strangely, I'm not that excited for the new SSB4. Maybe it's due to the fact that I don't even have enough money to buy even the first Wii. :-/ I don't even have Brawl yet! I've played Brawl over other people's houses though. But I just find myself liking Brawl and Melee better. *shrugs*

It would have been interesting to see SS Zelda as her goddess gown was different to her usual attires in past games. But I do think TP Zelda is more suited for Smash Bros because she had a very good role in Twilight Princess.

I was so relieved- I actually disliked SS Zelda, but TP Zelda is one of her best incarnations, imo.

I liked her personality from SS better but her physical apearance in TP was the best of canon games in my opnion.

It annoyed me how she just was a damsel in distress again. At least in OOT, WW and TP, she helps kill Ganondorf.

Hmm...she was a Damsel in distress in pretty much every canon Zelda game she was present ..the only sort of exception is S.T where she is your companion and she actually helps Link, but even then you had to retrive her body back from Malladus so you still had to rescue ...part of her. But i understand your anger.

The reason i like her personality in SS is because she is clearly Link's girlfriend (even trough the game doesnt express it with words) rather than that distant figure of most games that stays out of sight for most of the gameplay..trough...Her design in TP is much more awesome because she has an slightly older look rather than the typical little-young-teenager. The only game that her apearance is better than TP is the Spin-off Hyrule warriors.

Really, I feel like that's more the game designer's fault than Zelda's- the videogame industry isn't exactly progressive when it comes to representing women, but I think Zelda has gotten stronger over the years and OOT was definitely where that started. (I don't think people give her enough credit in that game, tbh.)

I actually like her better in OOT, WW and TP for pretty much the exact opposite reason, like she's given more to do in those games than just serve as an implied love interest for Link, because she's concerned with protecting Hyrule and the fact so much was done to keep her away Ghirahim but he kidnapped her anyway was pretty frustrating. But to each their own preference.
