Demise is a character in Skyward Sword (played on the Wii).
I won't say more because that would involve spoilers.
Unless you'll never play the game, in which case I'd be happy to elaborate.
Are you having a hard time getting to the temple?
Or getting started because you just don't care right now?
(I hope you don't take offense at my vagueness. I'm trying not to spoil it too much for potential readers.)
Demise is the kinda last boss.
(though I think you knew that after watching the boss fight)
GAME PLAY SPOILER!!!
When I was fighting Demise, I tried running away from him, thinking he would plod slowly behind me (I was fresh from Twilight Princess' final battle). Then I made the mistake of turning around. I've never had such a shock as when I saw him RIGHT THERE behind me, attacking me. *shudders* Gives me the spooks just thinking about it. I was low on hearts at the time, thinking I'd get some distance and take a potion. While he didn't kill me, he did start me running again. Well, more dancing around him. After I took my potion I, naturally, tried running away again. Wasn't as scary the second time, which is a bit of a bummer. *shrug* aww well.
Link is a pretty short fellow. Look in Soul Calibur 2, he's the second smallest character, only taller than Talim who is 4 feet 8.
I mean,think about it.
Ganon can use the triforce of power to do a lot of badass stuff.
Same for Zelda, she can use her triforce of wisdom to use magic!
And Link? His triforce of courage turns him into a frickin wolf from time to time ._.
SS Link did not just earn the Triforce, like WW Ganondorf or LttP Link. He became worthy of it. He was the only person known in Hyrule history to actually forge his soul to become worthy of all parts of the Triforce. So, when he collected it, he became its owner, and could wish on it freely.
A more simple way to explain Ganondorf's need to touch it is that there were multiple people who had a part of the Triforce, so the once who got the wish was decided by who touched it first. In this case, it is King Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule, former bearer of (most of) the Triforce of Wisdom.
It is possible that Malon's mother is a Gerudo or has Gerudo ancestry as Malon has vibrant red hair and her father, Talon, gives an interesting reaction when Link approaches him while wearing the Gerudo Mask, he will say that it looks like his wife, but then decides against it. If that is the case, that would raise the question on why she wasn't raised as a Gerudo (although this may be because of her differences compared to the other Gerudos).
